Bradley Vallejos is the Director of Procurement and Fleet Manager at Our World Energy. He oversees the organization's purchases of goods and services, assisting the company in fulfilling contractual obligations through strong vendor relationships and streamlined ordering processes. Vallejos is committed to assisting businesses in developing sustainable supply networks to ensure continued service, mutual business support, and long-term success. He is highly effective at establishing positive relationships and building capable teams, lowering overhead, and increasing corporate value.
As Our World Energy's Fleet Manager, Vallejos is responsible for keeping the fleet and facility in top functioning order. To meet production and service quality requirements, he properly oversees and replenishes current inventory stock based on customer demands and sales projections, as well as adhering to and enforcing purchasing policies, procedures, and associated regulations. He is in charge of budgetary controls and asset management as well as shipping cost reduction, increased efficiency, logistics management, collaboration with other departments and employee performance management and morale.
Vallejos has a diverse background in process development, financial administration, operations, and logistics. Since starting as an entry-level customer service account representative in 2019, he has participated in the creation of various Our World Energy departments. From there, he advanced into a scheduling role where a full team was launched. He subsequently took over warehouse operations and began establishing connections with suppliers, and within a few months was promoted to what would become the procurement department.
As the company expanded and assets were acquired, he stepped into the fleet management role, which he grew from roughly 11 assets to 60+. Vallejos has trained several others in similar positions and is driven by the belief that nothing is self-taught; rather, he has observed and absorbed the exceptional leadership models around him. The focus is to establish a team of leaders capable of exercising Decentralized Command and doing everything in their power to promote the fast-paced model that is a fundamental component of Our World Energy's flagship.
Because of these experiences, Vallejos excels and is most confident in grasping the Why. While this isn’t a new revelation, it’s one that he’s begun to seek out more aggressively because it necessitates improved communication and understanding. He also believes in the value of systems. By utilizing, developing, and optimizing the resources available to him and his team for more efficient and effective usage, or by discovering and implementing new processes, he and his team's effectiveness has increased significantly.
Vallejos' work is motivated by the conviction that they have the ability and potential to be the most "squared away" team. Individual drive and professionalism are contagious, and he believes the company is off to a solid start with quality leaders in place. Vallejos only sees them becoming stronger and faster by pushing themselves beyond what was previously impossible while refining their technique and improving their communication. He intends to accept the standard of "Be the Change You Want to See," and he wishes to adopt his essential principles of serving the customer, serving the team so that they may be their best self, and doing the right thing to make the world a better place.
Vallejos, an Arizona native, enjoys spending time with his family, being outside in nature, and a good song in the proper setting. He serves at his church by spending time with and teaching his church's college and career singles life stage class.
